I am not a coach who read about the dark. I lived in it for forty years — the anger, the numbness, the working myself into the ground so I never had to feel anything. I built a company. I lost my family a little more every year. In 2017 I decided I was done.
Something interrupted me. What came after was not a program. It was a return — to my body, my values, my wife, my children, and to a purpose I could finally say out loud.
Today I help others heal, transform, and rise.
The Journey
The Descent
What happened to me as a child was not my fault, and I carried it anyway. I carried it in silence, and silence turned it into rage.
Anger became my protection. Depression became my weather. I met Nikole — the love of my life — and loved her from behind a wall neither of us knew how to take down.
The Marine Corps gave me discipline, brotherhood, and a code. It gave me something to be. It did not give me what I actually needed, and when I took the uniform off, the wound was still there.
So I built. A multimillion-dollar construction company, built on eighteen-hour days and a belief that if I produced enough, I would finally be worth something. My children grew up while I was on site.
By 2017 my marriage was nearly over, my kids barely knew me, and the success had proven what I was most afraid of: none of it fixed me. I made a decision to end my life.
The Return
I was interrupted. I do not have a tidy explanation for it — only that something reached me that day, and I am still here. That moment is the hinge my whole life turns on.
I went looking. Underneath the anger was grief. Underneath the grief was a boy nobody protected. I stopped managing myself and started meeting myself.
I traveled to sit with elders, spiritual leaders, and traditional healers around the world. I learned practices that reach deeper than talk — and I learned to bring them home instead of leaving them at the retreat.
My wife is my wife again. My children have their father. And the same fight that nearly killed me is now the thing I hand to other men — so they get there faster than I did.

The year I chose to live. Everything on this website exists because of that one decision.
The Center of the Work
The order is not a suggestion. You cannot give your family a peace you have not found. You cannot lead a community you are hiding from. It moves outward, one ring at a time — and it starts in the center, with you.
This is the ring nobody wants to start with. It is also the only one that works. Before you fix anything outside you, you go inside — the wound, the anger, the story you have been running from. You stop performing and start telling the truth. Everything else is downstream of this.
